The LCR-DR is a direct refrigerant chiller in the K-O Concepts new product line. The LCR-DR is designed specifically for electronic and cold plate cooling. The LCR-DR can cool heat loads at or below 800 watts w/ a temperature accuracy of ±0.1°C of set point. The LCR-DR can be powered by 115V power that would otherwise require 230V mains.

Cold Plate Cooling
K-O Concepts LCR-DR series cooling modules provide R134a refrigerant for cold plate applications. A cold plate is used for heat sinking the hot side of thermoelectric (Peltier) devices for high ambient operation of these devices. Cold plates can also be used to sink hot spots in electronic cabinets i.e. rack style cabinets.

LCR-DR
Maximum performance in a minimum package. Plug this Lil' Chill cooling module into any wall socket around the world. Specially targeted for direct diode & diode-pumped laser systems.

Easily Integrated
Standard 19 inch rack-mounted configuration allows the cooling module to be integrated with the equipment to be cooled. Fully enclosed cabinet is equipped with handles for ease of installation. Weights from on 38lb. / 17 kg. The chiller is air-cooled for portability.

Selectable Voltage
Field Selectable Voltage: 100, 120, 200, 208, 230 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz, 1Ø.

Accurate Process Water Temperature Control
Standard digital "PID" controller accurately maintains the desired process refrigerant temperature to within ±0.1°C of set temperature. Dual digital readout displays both set and actual process refrigerant temperatures. Our newly developed control system is patent pending.

Heating
Waste heat is harvested from the system's compressor to quickly raise the temperature of the process refrigerant. Approximately 40% of the BTU rating of the chiller unit is available for heating the process refrigerant up to 35°C without any external heat load.

Computer Interface
Optional 485 computer interface for monitoring of time vs. process refrigerant temperature and more.

CFC Free Refrigerant
All models use environmentally friendly R134a (HFC-134a) refrigerant. Chiller units using this refrigerant can be sold into Europe and Asia . This is the same refrigerant used in all new automobiles.

Free Standing Conversions Available
Converts rack-mount to free-standing chiller with casters.
